Summer is here! It's been a quick change from a wet warm spring to dry hot summer. When rain comes, it's a welcome gift.
And speaking of a gift... I recently discovered this big beautiful Koi swimming in our Koi Pond. Apparently, this beauty has been hiding in our pond's depths (all of 4' deep) for the last couple of years and is now showing itself. May have been hiding from our occasionally visiting heron. Or a river otter from the nearby Ivy River.
Our Koi Pond is a delightful place to cool off. Hang out on the pond deck or under the pergola. Watch the mesmerizing fish or enjoy water dips. There's so much beauty around and in the pond.
And speaking of delight and dipping into water... Guests at a June BOI special wedding enjoyed a delightful cooling experience. A spa and cold plunge treat! See photo below, of the sweet spa set up.
